How do I download the completion record?
For the AI literacy check, a company admin can download who received it and who finished it, never what they answered.
Note: only a company admin can download this file, and only for the AI literacy check. It’s a record per person, and like the levels on that check, it carries no answers.
The AI literacy check, Know Your AI, exists partly for Article 4 of the EU AI Act. Article 4 asks a company to take measures so that its staff have enough AI literacy. It does not say what form the proof must take. This file is one record you can keep: who received the check and who completed it. For what Article 4 asks of an employer, and what it doesn’t, read Article 4 of the EU AI Act.
Download the record
- Open Home.
- Select Download the record, at the top of the page next to the round’s name.
The file is a CSV. It lists everyone the check was sent to, and anyone who finished it.
What is in the file?
The file has seven columns, in this order:
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
name |
The person’s name. If Flow has no name for them, their email address. |
role |
Their role, from your People list. If they aren’t on it, the role they gave when they finished. |
employment_type |
employee, contractor or partner, from your People list. Blank if they aren’t on it. |
date_sent |
When the check was sent to them. |
date_completed |
When they finished. Blank if they didn’t. |
instrument_version |
Which version of the check they answered. Blank if they didn’t finish. |
guidance_shown |
Whether they were shown your company’s rules. |
The first six columns record who received the check and who completed it. The seventh says whether the person was shown your rules.
How guidance_shown reads:
yesornofor anyone who finished.- Blank for someone who was sent the check and didn’t finish.
In Know Your AI, every “What should you do?” situation shows the person your rule after they answer it. Flow records each time it does. If that happened at least once, the column reads yes.
It reads no when no rule was shown. That happens if:
- Your company has no AI rules.
- Every situation was marked as not matching your rule.
- The rule never reached the person’s screen. For example, the connection dropped after they answered.
A run from an earlier round that ended in a typed conversation reads yes if that conversation ended on a line quoting one of your rules.
What is not in the file?
What each person answered stays private. The file has no answers, no scores and no quotes.
It also doesn’t say which of your rules a person was shown, or how they answered. On earlier rounds, the closing line’s rule was picked to fit what that person had described a moment before. A column naming that rule would tell you the weak spot each person talked about. That is an answer, and answers stay with the person who gave them.
Good to know
- The five-person floor doesn’t apply to this one file, on purpose. It’s a completion record per person, and it carries no answers. The floor applies everywhere else you read results. See reading your company results.
- If your company has AI rules, the AI literacy check needs your ground rules complete before it can go live. A company with no AI rules can run it without them. See setting up your company.
